And Then There Were Three

Watching these humans become a family has been a pretty extraordinary experience for me. He and I grew up together and I always considered him to be like an older brother, you know, the one I never exactly wanted, nevertheless he is family. She and I met through a number of mutual friends and let me tell you, this girl is awesome, she is probably more like the sister I always did want.

Then they found each other and you realize some things are just meant to be. 

A few months ago, they added a precious little lady to their family and I was able to document a few sweet moments with the three of them at their home.  Photographing babies is such a treat for me and some of my favorite photos out of these newborn sessions always end up being documentary type captures. You get a true feel how special they all are, individually and as a unit. Here are a few from that day.
